How do I apply for a job?
Please visit our Employment Listings page. From there, search for a position of interest and click on the “Perform Search” link at the bottom of the page. You will receive results that match your search criteria. This will begin the online job application process. You may want to have details of your past employment and education on hand to refer to during this process.
When should I expect to hear from Human Resources after I apply for a job?
You will receive an email notification from Virtus acknowledging receipt of your application, and it will then be reviewed by Human Resources staff. If you do not hear from us in 30 days, you can assume that the position was filled or that Virtus does not currently have a suitable position for you.
How long is my application active?
Your application remains active indefinitely, but you must apply for each position separately.
Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes, candidates may apply for multiple positions.
I have already applied. Do I have to enter all my information again?
No. Although each job application may require answering questionnaires specific to the job, if you previously created a profile through an application the information you provided will be available to use again for other applications. You will have the opportunity to edit any information previously submitted as needed.
How do I know how much a certain job pays?
If you are contacted for an interview, a Human Resources representative will be glad to discuss your salary requirements and the salary range for the position for which you have applied.
Will my application be considered if I indicate that I do not want my present employer contacted?
I already work for Virtus, can I apply for another job through this site?
